I have concluded that this site sucks, so I'm heading on over to deviantART and Fanart Central. See, I don't really like how the content on this site is anime and ONLY anime related; it's not general enough. Also, the site seems to be very picky about file format.
I have realized that it doesn't matter how great of an artist you are, nor how creative and/or intelligent you are. You do not have a great chance of becoming famous here, if you do not have a whole army of fans to support you. It also helps if you submit wallpapers/scans/drawings of half-naked girls/girls in bikinis/a girl wearing something revealing.
What I hate most about this site is the way it is run. The system is much more complicated here than on other sites. On deviantART and Fanart Central, the process of viewing a image is extremely simple; you click on the thumbnail of a image you wish to see and look at it. If you like it, full view it. But on HERE, we have this extremely annoying "credits system" and "free download quota". Not only is it sometimes confusing, but complicated as well. On other sites, you don't have to read the entire Help section to fully understand the site. Fanart Central is very simple in concept. You may have to read some rules to understand, but not the entire section. Moderators and staff members at deviantART and Fanart Central are much more helpful and friendly. People here make a big fuss over nothing and hardly care about something that is worth thinking about.
And is it just me, or is everything here so...cliche? Almost everyone's signature is a scan, maybe Photoshopped and brushed up a little, with the user's name on it. All everyone talks about is anime, anime, ANIME!!! I mean, I'm a huge fan of anime, but I don't talk about it 24/7. this site is not general enough in it's topics.
